[Muan·Yeongam / 1 Night] Maeumsaegim Trip🍵ㅣTea Picnic + Seal Engraving + Fig Baking + Hanok Stay
I feel like I’ve become rich after visiting Muan-Yeongam. I came alone, but I didn't feel alone. A 2-day, 1-night trip to Muan-Yeongam where rest and experiences coexisted abundantly. This trip to Muan-Yeongam was not just about touring tourist attractions; it was a special time where I could experience nature, culture, taste, and relaxation all at once. I felt the mystical energy residing in the majestic landscape of Mt. Wolchul in Yeongam, set aside my usual cluttered thoughts for a while, and enjoyed rich experiences and benefits through programs in collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization's Tourism Dure. On a rainy day, I sat in a pavilion listening to the sound of the rain and enjoyed a tea picnic filled with the aroma of tea. Drinking a cup of tea while listening to the rain was so atmospheric that I felt it was a shame for time to pass. At the art museum, I received the golden recipe for freshly baked fig bread and spent a cultural time appreciating an exhibition by Nordic artists. Meditation and yoga amidst the sound of singing bowls were also truly healing moments. Staying overnight at a tranquil Hanok accommodation and wrapping up the day in a serene atmosphere truly made me feel like I was on vacation. In terms of culinary delights, I enjoyed a variety of dishes, starting with the egg sandwich served as soon as I boarded the bus, followed by Galnak-tang (beef and octopus soup), wild vegetable bibimbap, and Yedam-eun's Wolchul Soban, which captures the unique characteristics of the region. Although it was a short 1-night, 2-day trip, it was a journey where I saw, ate, learned, and rested, enriching my heart as well. That is why, on the way back, I felt as though I had returned truly rich. Traveling alone isn't difficult, so I encourage you to take courage and set off. You don't need to worry about the schedule or transportation; you can naturally mingle with new people and create unique memories; and you can enjoy ample time alone while still savoring the joy of being with others.
