We took the boat at 1 PM and arrived around 2 PM, where the owner warmly welcomed us. After dropping off our luggage and resting for a bit, he suggested we go mudskipper fishing, so we headed straight to the beach. Although we were supposed to bring our own lugworms, he got some for us, so we had a blast catching mudskippers for two hours. When we returned to the accommodation, a delicious dinner spread was laid out, and everything was so tasty that we ate until we were absolutely stuffed. The owner is very generous and served a table for four, so I felt so bad leaving food behind. It was so delicious that I still regret not being able to finish it all. Hahaha. After eating and resting for about two hours, we went for a sea foraging experience. We timed our visit to coincide with the tide between 10 AM and 12 PM. Since the sea is pitch black, bringing a headlamp is a must. Rentals are available, but they are first-come, first-served, so if one isn't available, you have to bring your own. We brought ours, but it wasn't enough to beat the power of the owner's headlamp. If you want to catch a lot, it's better to rent one. There were so many crabs on the day I went. We caught tons of mud crabs and picked up a lot of conch shells as well. If you follow the owner closely, you'll collect a lot! My second-grade son followed the owner around, and I'm so grateful for how well she looked after him. Thanks to her, my husband and I were able to fully enjoy the experience. We dragged our tired bodies back to the accommodation and passed out. For breakfast, you can choose between a sandwich or seafood ramen, and they make it delicious for you. After eating, we immediately head back out to dig for clams! We roughly packed our bags, checked out, left our luggage, and headed to the mudflats! I think we caught about 10 kilograms in two hours. We were so busy catching them that I didn't take any photos. When we returned to the accommodation, delicious pasta was waiting for us. We ate until we were stuffed, packed our bags, and headed to the harbor. We packed the seafood we caught into an icebox the owner had purchased and brought it back. My son, who was so sad to leave, promised to come back next year. The experience is optional. Our child loved it so much that we ended up doing everything. I'm still busy sorting through the clams, conch, and crabs I caught lol. I recommend not getting greedy like me and just taking what you can eat~ haha. But once you go for the experience, you won't be able to control yourself~ It's so much fun that you'll just keep catching~ haha. I'm planning to go to Jumundo again next year. Of course, I'll be staying at the Sea Pension~ heh. They have group pensions too, so I'd love to go with my family next year for a fun time~ It was an island trip I went on by chance~ I feel like I made such wonderful memories~!!! I highly recommend it for family trips and trips with friends~^^
