[Haenam·Gangjin/1 Night] Humanities Healing Journey for Rest ㅣ Hwangchilnamu (Dendropanax tree) Picnic & Hinoki Cypress Singing Bowl Meditation 🍃
While contemplating where to go, I happened to sign up for the 2-day, 1-night trip to Haenam and Gangjin through "Nolneunbeop." I wanted to escape my daily routine and rest in nature, and it was a perfect rest that exceeded my expectations. We traveled in a spacious and comfortable premium bus, so I didn't feel tired at all. I was touched starting with the charming snack set of rice cakes and sikhye (sweet rice drink) provided at the start of the trip. At the Hwangchil Tree Forest Picnic, I completely washed away my stress while enjoying a packed lunch prepared with care under a white parasol on the lush green lawn. Walking through the tranquil Hanok of the Yun Seon-do Historic Site (Nokwudang) accompanied by the guide's insightful explanations, and seeing the magnificent scenery of Daeheungsa Temple on Mt. Duryun, surrounded like a folding screen, was enough to open my heart and clear my mind. The dinner was also a stroke of genius. I felt truly satisfied thanks to the hearty rice served in a brass bowl, the spicy and savory stir-fried pork, and the neat side dishes, including soybean paste soup. The accommodation was also great; thanks to the warm wooden interior and plush bedding, I slept soundly and comfortably all night. The next day, at Saeui-jae in Gangjin, I felt the presence of Dasan Jeong Yak-yong and found peace of mind. The lush bamboo forest path at Baegun-dongwonrim and the leisurely cup of tea provided an unforgettable healing experience. Thanks to the guide and manager who took such kind care of me from the beginning to the end of the trip, I created unforgettable memories. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to go somewhere but hesitates because they don't have a friend to go with. Even if you come alone, you can take away plenty of warmth and healing; it is the best trip!
