[Wando/1 Night] Ulmorae Sound Walk | Sea Glass Craft + Wando's Kitchen + Marine Healing Path 🌊
It has been quite a while since I returned from the trip, but I am only posting a review now. I applied because I wanted to escape my meticulously planned daily routine and find some healing. I arrived a little early, so I strolled along the beach near the accommodation and dipped my feet in the water, enjoying a brief swim. I thought it would have been nice to arrive even earlier to play in the water. Upon arrival, they served us a light welcome tea, and it was impressive that the owner personally introduced the meaning of the trip and the activities.😊 The "Sea Glass Upcycling" activity brought back childhood memories—it was simple yet fun.🌟 There was time for a walk before dinner, but because the weather was so humid and hot, we drove to a nearby cafe instead of taking a walk. However, the place we visited closed at 5 PM.🥲 Since it is a tourist destination, it seems closing times vary depending on foot traffic, so if you are planning to visit a cafe like we did, I recommend checking the operating hours and holidays in advance. They served us a full spread of abalone for dinner, and even after finishing one plate, I was still craving more, so they gave us another one 🫶❤️💕. They mentioned that abalone is common in Wando... so I got to eat that precious abalone to my heart's content haha. They also treated us to wine made from loquats they cultivated themselves (loquat wine) as an accompaniment, and wow... it paired perfectly with the food and was incredibly delicious 😍. Usually, when they offer alcohol as an accompaniment like that, they only give you about one glass for tasting, but the owner here was sooooooo generous that they bestowed the grace of refilling our glasses to the brim with wine as soon as they were empty, like a magic cup 🙏👏👍. After finishing our meal that day and chatting for a bit... we got carried away by the owner couple's relaxed atmosphere and the loquat wine... and the four of us—the owner couple and our group—spent a wild night... It was supposed to be a trip just to zone out and relax, but I never imagined we would end up having such a wild night. It was so much fun and I was so happy❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ (Personally, the most memorable moment for the four of us was covering "Fin.K.L"... The male owner was possessed by Sung Yuri...🤣) The next day, the baking experience of making scones with loquat flour was also super fun. We each made so many scones that we put the ones we made that day in the freezer and are still eating them.😊 (It’s no secret that the experience was tough because of the wild night we had the day before...😂) It was a trip where I spent so much fun and happiness. I think it will be a memory I cherish for a long time. Thank you for making it such a wonderful time🥰👍🫶💕
