[Pyeongtaek/Day Trip] Rice Bran Enzyme Bath Experience ♨️
To be honest, the smell of Cheonggukjang is quite strong when you first enter. But after visiting a few times, I’ve gotten used to it to the point where I now just think, "Ah, it’s savory." And when I realized it was the scent of fermented rice bran, it actually felt quite comforting. Perhaps because the heat from the rice bran enzyme steam bath is 100% natural fermentation, I felt my body warming up slowly and deeply. Everyone laughed at me while I was doing the steam bath and eye compresses, so the atmosphere was relaxed and helped me unwind. It was really nice to be able to freely enjoy spot treatments and rest while having a cup of tea after the 15-minute high-temperature steam bath. After gently rubbing my skin with rice bran and taking a shower, my skin felt incredibly soft. It’s the kind of thing you have to experience for yourself to understand.....😍😍😍 On the day I visited, there was an event like a dog marathon(?) in the side yard, so we could only order a portion of the restaurant menu. However, the owner told us we were "from 'How to Play Far Away'" and specially gave us the dishes we wanted, along with dumplings, as a complimentary service 🙌 The food was light and delicious, without any artificial seasonings. Eating it after the sauna made me feel relaxed deep inside. I properly relieved my fatigue, and with the delicious food and great service, it was a truly enjoyable day of rest. It is an experience I would wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking to escape the city and heal in a healthy way 🌿
