[Okcheon] A Farmer's Day at Daecheongho Lake Bangasil
This is a place I visited when I was exhausted from city life and needed a quiet day. This gathering was a very special occasion with only 10 people present to celebrate the 100th meeting of the Moonlight Gathering. Perhaps because of that, it was a time when we could share our hearts more deeply and quietly. Although it has been quite a while since I visited, strangely enough, it remains deeply etched in my heart and is a place I still remember vividly. After slowly exploring the aquatic plant garden and returning to the accommodation, the mind-healing singing bowl meditation with the host was truly special. Amidst the gentle resonance, my mind naturally settled, and it was a time when I felt, "Ah, I am truly resting right now." The dinner after the meditation was absolutely amazing ✨ The dinner prepared by the host and the villagers together was the very definition of a healthy home-cooked meal filled with sincerity. It wasn't fancy, but each dish was made with love, so I felt warm and grateful throughout the meal. In particular, I still cannot forget the peaches given by the village head 🍑 They were truly sweet and juicy—literally the peaches of a lifetime. The next morning was wonderful, and thanks to the fresh fruit, I was able to start the day in a good mood. The mugwort oil-making experience was also the best~👍👍👍 It felt like it captured the scent of nature perfectly, so it will remain in my memory for a long time. It was a place where I could feel relaxed while looking up at the sky at night, and slowly heal amidst nature during the day. I sincerely recommend this place to anyone who wants to let go of their worries and recharge in a quiet rural village.
