Walking along the quiet neighborhood streets, breathing in the fresh air; staring at the fire to let my worries fly away; and gazing at the unusually dark night sky filled with countless stars that seemed ready to pour down. Waking up in the morning, I enjoyed a cup of coffee while looking at the sunlit school building. Since there was a Kimchi Festival, I saw everyone bustling about and busy cleaning up. It was past 6 PM—which felt like a late hour—when I went to a cafe to get coffee to go. The office manager's kind explanation of the neighborhood left a deep impression on me. I could really feel their love for the village and their wish for it to prosper and remain connected. I got lost and wandered around for a while during the stamp tour (but at forks in the road, always go left!), and the cabbage fields and the sight of people threshing sesame with a tiller were truly memorable. I had a wonderful time.
