Protein Factory, run by a couple who returned to farming, felt less like a simple experience center and more like an agricultural laboratory centered on sustainability. By observing the insect rearing process firsthand, I was able to easily understand the environmental impact and the value of low-carbon foods. I also enjoyed the itinerary that included a leisurely walk through Juknokwon before the visit, and the local Damyang meal was exquisite. I expect that even more robust programs will be created once the remodeling is complete.
