[Hoengseong] Dado (Korean tea ceremony) Experience + Yellow Clay Gudeul Jjimjilbang (traditional underfloor-heated yellow clay room) + 2 Meals + Hanok Stay
I was so disappointed. As someone who works at a broadcasting station, I trusted the quality of broadcasts and went out of my way to visit this place, which had been featured on another show. However, the room was far too cramped and small for three people. An additional sleeping space for one person in a room meant for two. The bedding was flimsy. All the details regarding the convenience of the stay were uncomfortable... (I am not talking about the discomfort of a Hanok in general, but rather the preparation, consideration, and condition of the guests.) Especially the food!! In a way, that is why I chose this place... Even if the sleeping arrangements were uncomfortable, the food should have soothed my mind and offset the discomfort and dissatisfaction... They only cared about catering to women's tastes and visuals. When you look at each item individually, they were just terrible... including the unforgettable breakfast, which was worse than a neighborhood diner. Was it just like that during our stay?? At first, I even took photos to post a detailed review... but sigh... what good is that now... I have a lot to say, but let's get straight to the point. Even if it is just my personal opinion, everyone in our party was disappointed... It was a trip that left a lot of regret and I would absolutely not recommend it. ---I am leaving a comment after reading the host's reply. Does anyone actually go there expecting a pension? There were clearly comments in other posts saying it was a cramped room that gets full with just three people lying down, so are you saying it is a room spacious enough for four people? When did we ever ask for a special meal? How can you speak like that!! There were cobwebs in the room. Dust. The reason I didn't write more specifically is that it is already in the past and I didn't want to relive it, and I didn't want to feel unpleasant anymore. Did I really have to write about every single detail, even uploading photos? Seeing how you responded in such detail, I know... it is exactly what we saw and felt, and just like someone else commented, absolutely not recommended... it makes me even more disappointed.
