[Geochang/1 Night] Singing Bowl + Yoga + Tea Meditation + Healthy Food in Nature - Local Wellness Retreat π§π»ββοΈ
It was a truly healing and enjoyable time~ It was a trip I went on somewhat impulsively after watching a YouTube video, but I had a meaningful time with my mom and a friend! The vegan restaurant and home-style meals suited my taste perfectly, and I especially enjoyed the breakfast the next morning (the taro soup...π₯Ή). My mom said she felt a bit heavy and tired while digesting, but I happily stuffed myself with snacks at rest stops during the journey haha. The guide kindly provided explanations during the trip, appropriately incorporating history! They also took great photos for us... and the driver drove incredibly smoothly; I was truly grateful! (First off, the bus condition was π. Oh, you can connect charging cables on the bus, but you need to bring a USB cable instead of a Type-C one to charge your devices^^) The accommodation was also nice and clean, with a typical pension feel. Since this was a package tour supported by the city, it seems they really paid attention to the condition of the accommodation. I also felt more at ease knowing the host was a woman. The yoga course was great (it was my mother's first time doing yoga, and she said it was refreshing and good even for a beginner). We couldn't use the hot springs due to personal reasons, but it was nice to enjoy the Cosmos Festival with a cup of coffee instead. (The foot bath was free, so we settled for that, and since it was hot spring water, it was good enough!) My mother used the hot springs and said she loved it! They also stopped by a local food store, so we were able to bring back some delicious fruits and snacks safely. It was my first time in Gyeongsang-do, specifically Gyeongnam, outside of Busan, and Geochang... was a great place. If I have the chance, I would love to visit again.
