As someone who enjoys traveling and exploring new ways to have fun, I would like to express my gratitude for the truly special experience I had this time. Although it was a hot summer day, the green path leading to Jeongsu Culture Village was beautiful, and I still remember the smile of the village manager who welcomed us so kindly. After a brief rest at the accommodation, we enjoyed a glass of Sikhye as a welcome drink and began the highlight of the trip: the traditional liquor-making experience. The village manager and local acquaintances joined us to explain everything from the origins of alcohol to the brewing process in an entertaining way. Our group carefully cooked and cooled the steamed rice, and brewed the liquor ourselves using starter culture, wondering when we would be able to drink it. We wrote down the date and our names, prayed for a delicious fermentation, and kept the jars safe; the moment we had truly been looking forward to finally arrived. We marveled at the delicious and elegant spread featuring charcoal-grilled Hanwoo beef paired with traditional liquor, and as we savored a piece of meat and a glass of wine, the summer night deepened. I do not think I will ever forget the comfortable night we spent in the well-air-conditioned accommodation. It was such a special experience surrounded by nature that I even bragged about it to everyone around me. I would like to thank the office manager and the staff at Jeongsu Culture Village once again, and I hope many people will visit to experience it. Thank you for your hard work.
