It was much better than I expected in many ways! First of all, the host and their acquaintances were incredibly kind. The makgeolli brewing experience was novel and interesting, as the process involved using the base liquor they had thoughtfully prepared in advance, accompanied by detailed explanations. For dinner, we were able to create unforgettable memories in a cool, open space, enjoying homemade shiitake mushroom accompaniments, incredibly delicious Hanwoo beef, and traditional makgeolli. I was able to spend a comfortable night in the accommodation with the air conditioning on full blast. In the morning, I woke up early and enjoyed a peaceful atmosphere while exploring the tranquil village and the abandoned school, which has been transformed into an art space and golf course.
