[Pohang/1 Night] Rural Life in Dureong Village with a Garden and Healthy Dining
I had vague ideas about a rural experience... but thanks to the host's kindness, the family's welcome, and even the dogs being welcomed, my worries were put at ease. We cooked dinner with vegetables harvested from the garden and had a delicious home-cooked meal for breakfast. It was so good that I ate so much it was almost hard to eat! Making gochujang (Korean chili paste) was also a great experience. At the end, they gave us so much of the rice, beans, millet, barley, and other produce they grew themselves, so I am returning home with a warm heart and gratitude. They kindly explained everything and answered all my questions about moving to the countryside and farming, which was very helpful. If you are hesitating because you think a rural experience might be too hard, just book it! I highly recommend it!
