I was selected for the Naechaegong program and visited Wando, Jeollanam-do for the first time. The accommodation and programs, run by local residents in a small fishing village, were incredibly fulfilling. It wasn't a flashy hotel, but it was clean and had a unique charm reminiscent of a European countryside village. It was also great to make wonderful memories with my travel companions. I had no idea Wando was this beautiful and great for sightseeing. If it weren't so far away, I would love to visit every year. I saw a plant called a loquat for the first time, and the wine was so delicious that I bought some to take home. Ultimately, the host couple took such good care of me that it felt less like a host-guest relationship and more like being invited to the home of a close friend. We ate together and chatted. It felt like filming the Wando episode of *Walking Around the World*. They mentioned that each season offers different programs, fun, and charm, so I definitely want to visit again!
