A casual trip with five friends; just like most waterfalls in Korea, Gugok Falls was charming and cozy. We chatted while soaking our feet in the stream for about 30 minutes, forgetting the heat. I had planned to order extra potato pancakes and acorn jelly because of reviews saying the portions were small, but they were served to us as a complimentary dish, so we ate until we were full and satisfied. For the produce harvest experience, they allowed us to pick not only tomatoes but also plenty of long green peppers to fill both hands, and the mini-bus ride to and from the farm was also fun. The local food direct sales store was full of products that caught my eye with their affordable prices and freshness, but I resisted the temptation and bought only what I could carry. I commend the kind driver and guide for the great value for the price.
