[Muju/1 Night] Kkotpineun Sangol Farm (Blooming Mountain Valley Farm) | Gochujang Experience + Smoked Barbecue + Private Detached House πΊπ
One summer day in July, two women set off on a healing trip to 'Flowering Mountain Village Farm' in Muju. After a period of scorching sunshine, it poured rain on the day we arrived. We greeted the host with the expectation that the fog hanging over the mountain slopes would actually make for a special trip filled with atmosphere. Feeling the genuine sincerity in the welcome juice made from tomatoes grown on their own farm, we comfortably unpacked our bags. The accommodation was so beautiful, filled with charming little trinkets and stylish, tasteful interior design, that the two women started making a huge fuss. While enjoying the lush green views in all directions, snacking on corn, drinking coffee, and relaxing, we created a time of healing amidst the rain. We overate on a barbecue and a neat, skillfully prepared dinner. Afterward, for the first time in decades, we picked up a brush and became artists to try our hand at fabric art. Although the time slipping away while we chatted to the sound of the rain all night felt too precious, the refreshing air of this place the next morning presented a different kind of charm. We indulged in a luxurious and delicious breakfast featuring fried eggs freshly laid by the chickens in the backyard, fluffy toast, and homemade jam made from blueberries and apples grown right here. Afterward, we went out for a walk to fully breathe in the crisp air following the rain. Using the regret of missing the campfire the previous night due to the rain as an excuse, we promised to return to see the place in other seasons. We have carefully captured these fulfilling two-day, one-night stays as cherished memories. Thank you so much for every moment at Flowering Mountain Farm, made possible by the heartfelt care of the hosts. I will definitely visit you again.
