Starting our fulfilling trip to Muju! Before checking into Taekwondowon, we visited the Wine Cave and Bandiland. The Wine Cave is really cool inside, so it's a must-visit spot for a summer trip to Muju!! I was surprised by how much there was to see and how well-organized the Insect Museum at Bandiland was. Both adults and children were extremely satisfied!! Despite the heat, we had a blast sledding, then stopped by the Planetarium to reserve a night observation spot. Fortunately, the sky was clear that day, so our reservation wasn't cancelled and we were able to observe. It was my first time observing the moon and constellations. To think I could have such a precious experience for just 2,000 won!! If you are planning a trip to Muju, you absolutely must visit here!! Taekwondowon has both beds and heated floors, but we chose the beds!! The 4-person room had four single beds, and it was convenient having a separate shower and toilet. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels were provided, and it was perfect with a refrigerator and TV. There was also a laundry room next to our room, so we could do our laundry there!! There are water dispensers and microwaves on every floor, and since there is a convenience store inside the Taekwondowon, we were able to take care of everything within the park without having to leave. The bed was a Simmons, so we slept like clockwork. Tickets for the weekend regular performances are distributed starting at 9:30 AM, and thanks to our stay at the Taekwondowon, we were able to get tickets with plenty of time to spare!! After checking out and watching the performance, we rode the monorail (free with the Jeonbuk Tour Pass) and took in the wide-open view; the heat just vanished completely haha. It was a perfect trip to Muju, from the itinerary to the facilities!! Both children and adults were satisfied, satisfied, and extremely satisfied haha.
