When I arrived at Songal Songal Sangol Iyagi amidst a gentle drizzle, I was captivated by the charming garden. The host offered welcome tea, and for dinner, the pork belly and king oyster mushrooms featured a delightful texture accompanied by thoughtful side dishes. After a night walk, I returned to the accommodation to wrap up the day while gazing at the crackling fire in the cauldron and drinking tea. The next morning, I enjoyed a meal with neatly prepared side dishes, participated in a dyeing experience, and walked through the forest to the mushroom farm, where the scent of the trees was incredibly refreshing. I also participated in the mushroom harvesting experience. I truly had a delightful two-day, one-night stay. I was deeply touched to learn that the host personally cultivated not only the mushrooms but also the vegetables, welcome tea, and even the salad dressing provided in the morning.
