[Wando/1 Night] Ulmorae Sound Walk | Sea Glass Craft + Wando's Kitchen + Marine Healing Path 🌊
After a three-hour drive with friends, we arrived at Wando Ulmorae. The fragrant loquat leaf welcome tea warmed our bodies and minds, leaving us feeling refreshed. We strolled along the sandy beach of Myeongsa-simni as the sunset painted the sky red. A feast of abalone made our appetites surge, and the young host's delightful cooking called for loquat wine that evening. Travel is truly all about the food, haha. We started the second morning with easy-on-the-stomach steamed abalone porridge. The walk along the Barang-gil trail with the host was also superb. This was immediately followed by a loquat chocolate making experience. It was so pretty I almost didn't want to eat it—ah, for my beloved partner for Valentine's Day, haha. The owner's heartfelt commemorative gift, packed tightly into a small eco-bag, was incredibly touching. We wrapped up our happy two-day, one-night journey with a tour of the greenhouse. It was a comfortable, pleasant, and delightful trip, feeling just like visiting a dear friend. Hoping to visit again someday in June when the loquats are ripening.
