Do you wish to breathe in the fresh mountain air and breeze? Are you a working mom struggling to balance work and family life? Or are you a stay-at-home mom seeking some time to yourself away from your family for a while? Are you in your 50s or 60s, finding the meaning and joy of life only after raising your children to adulthood? Or are you in your 70s or 80s, entering the twilight of your life? No matter your generation, if you wish to enjoy peaceful healing in the embrace of nature, whether alone or with friends, I highly recommend visiting <Dutch Healing Jeonggane> in Namwon. It was an excellent choice to hold our college reunion here, the first in two and a half years. Having researched and booked the venue, I felt a sense of pride seeing how satisfied my friends were, and I was delighted by their compliments that I had made a good choice. Having requested a pickup service at 2:30 PM, I arrived at <Dutch Healing Jeonggane> after 3 PM. The place was situated on a vast plot of land at an altitude of 570 meters on Mt. Jirisan. When we were shown to our overnight accommodation, warm winter slippers were neatly arranged, and I was very pleased to see five canopy princess-style beds set up, allowing everyone to sleep comfortably. On a well-organized clothes rack hung a warm floral quilted vest, which seemed to be the first item in our "Grandma-style" experience. We all put them on and burst into laughter. Next, we drank red ginseng juice as a welcome tea, which they said was made from ginseng they cultivated and processed themselves, and began the red ginseng jelly making experience. The jelly-making activity, filled with plenty of red ginseng extract, ginseng, and red beans, was fascinating. The taste was not overly sweet but rather subtle and slightly bitter, allowing us to experience the ginseng flavor; I was satisfied with both the appearance and the taste. Following that, the peacefulness I felt while taking a foot bath in a cypress tub filled with hot water, herbs, red ginseng extract, and dried flowers in a greenhouse on one side of the yard, while breathing in the refreshing scent of various potted herbs, was indescribable. Although the weather outside was biting, we soaked our feet in hot water, and our bodies and minds were warmed by the gentle heating inside the greenhouse, which was filled with the scent of herbs. After getting lost in conversation for quite a while, we were surprised once again when it was time for a meal. We were served a healthy spread consisting of delicious boiled pork, cabbage, perilla leaves, and lettuce for wrapping, as well as neatly arranged seasoned greens, tasty rice, and soup. My friends and I all unanimously agreed that we felt like we were being treated with great care, and we felt deeply grateful to the owner. After the meal, a heater was lit on the terrace in front of our room, so we sat there and enjoyed the romance of the winter night. Then, the aroma of roasting sweet potatoes wafted from the yard, tantalizing our noses; even though we were already full, the taste was so good that it was hard to resist. The next morning, we woke up feeling very refreshed, and we were amazed once again when breakfast arrived. With scorched rice soup, morning rolls, salad, and fruit all beautifully arranged, we spent a happy morning. All my friends agreed that they wanted to stay here for one more day, and we all agreed to come back once more before summer arrives. The owners took care of us in various ways and treated us with such warmth that we were able to have a very satisfying and happy trip without a single inconvenience. I highly recommend <Dutch Healing Jeonggane>, a place where mothers and daughters, sisters, or friends can come to enjoy rest and relaxation!!!
