[Okcheon] A Farmer's Day in Bangasil, Daecheongho Lake
I rented a Socar at Daejeon Station and went on a trip to Okcheon. I visited places like Pangseon Brunch Cafe, Busodamgak Mir Garden, and the Aquatic Plant Learning Center. It was an area with amazing views. The meals were plentiful and delicious. The Cheonggukjang stew was particularly tasty, with soft tofu. Because the weather was cold, I couldn't choose between the farmer or fisherman experiences, but I liked that there were various activities available, such as foot baths, cutting board making, and herbal tea making. It was great that the accommodations allowed for individual sleeping with bedding and mattresses for each person. It is also a good place for workshops, as groups can enjoy tea time or snacks in the kitchen. The space was well-equipped for meetings. I stayed in the accommodation next to the welfare center. It was a quiet place, perfect for healing while admiring the surrounding scenery. The healer and his wife were incredibly kind, and I could feel their thoughtful attention to detail throughout the place. It is a place I want to visit again to try the farmer or fisherman experiences once the weather gets warmer. Added to my list of places to visit! It was easy to travel not only to Okcheon but also to other nearby regions such as Daejeon.
