A trip to the Blooming Mountain Village Farm in Muju with friends I met late in life after retirement. From the tidy accommodations and everything organized with stylish decor to the delicious food, nothing was lacking. It was a night filled with conversation, as we gazed at the foothills of Deogyusan Mountain through the window, moved by the scenery. Gazing at the wood fire in the cauldron in the yard was pure sentimentality, and the roasted sweet potatoes prepared by the owner ignited my inner girlish sensibility, burning brightly alongside the fire. The gentle affection between the couple also brought a sense of joy to those watching. It was a trip where I felt sad leaving everything behind. It was a time to return after creating unforgettable memories for a night at the Mountain Village Farm, a place I want to visit again in the blooming spring. The homemade gochujang made with apple juice was also a thoughtful gift.
