Taking a trip to Andong at the tail end of full-fledged autumn was truly the right decision. I arrived in Andong, visually healing as I gazed at the mountains ablaze with color and soaking up the scent of autumn. Since it was a newly built building, cleanliness was a given, and herbs and vegetables in the small garden warmly welcomed us. The conversation with the owner, who has a girlish sensibility, was healing in itself. She approached me with warmth, telling me about the surroundings and introducing me to small flowering trees, making me feel at ease. She meticulously guided me through the process of making a ceramic vase, teaching me every step of the way and every touch of my fingertips, allowing me to complete a wonderful vase. We also shared the night sky while looking for constellations together. Oh, and the Andong Jjimdak! It was so delicious—good, good, good!!! The tasty Greek yogurt salad, tea, and toast served in the morning... the list goes on and on, haha. Torak Todak is a place I definitely want to visit again. Thank you.
