I couldn't sleep a wink due to the excitement of the day before the trip and the pressure of having to take the early morning train from Daejeon to Yongsan Station and arrive at 9:00. It is a trip to Damyang that I wouldn't do even if someone paid me to, because I want to. Safely joined the group and boarded~~~ I really love this phrase. "A trip that is fine even if you come alone, but a place where the joy is doubled when you are together." For this autumn's Southern Korea gourmet trip, I put my heart into the idea of "Let's go" without a moment's hesitation. When you go there, there are companions to "get to know"; a true guide who knows style and taste, providing expert guidance and wisely resolving any unforeseen circumstances; and a driver who drives safely through every corner, taking you exactly where and at what time. With all this, what is there to worry about? The highlight of this <Overnight Damyang Gourmet Trip> was the company of the people I was with. Two mother-daughter pairs, a married couple, a sister-in-law and her husband, and two solo travelers. It was perfect for enjoying the autumn scenery of Gwanbangjerim and Soseowon. As for food, the Tteokgalbi and Sundubu set meal were the ultimate feast. For experiences, we made "me-gurt" promising golden bowel movements, and enjoyed the tea ceremony and traditional snacks at the head family's home, whose members willingly sacrificed their lives as righteous army soldiers to save the country and its people. The weather also played a part; it was a day to fully savor the autumn of 1926. I would also like to express my gratitude to the Damyang County official who traveled a long distance to present me with a bundle of gifts.
