There is a reason why I frequently use Nol-eun-beop Travel. First off, if there are 15 or more people, the limousine bus service and the healthy, beautiful local food meals are excellent. This time, in particular, Guide Kim Jeong-nam’s warm greeting melted away the tension of the trip like spring snow, and the driver’s exceptional kindness, attentiveness, and skilled driving technique put my mind at ease. Wow, the breakfast lunch box was stylish, and I absolutely loved the eco-friendly box that even included a variety of sikhye (sweet rice drink). During the 1-night, 5-day experience program, we participated in the Tea Picnic at Boje Seonwon, a place bestowed by King Heonjong. Feeling the lofty and dignified aura of Master Cho-ui, we shared snacks such as bellflower root, olives, and tangerines, along with traditional rice cakes. The four of us formed new bonds as we chatted and drank lotus leaf tea and green tea. Time flew by faster than the clouds. After filling my body with fresh air from head to toe through healing sinking bowl yoga to release tension and toxins, I participated in a seal carving experience. It was my first time ever. Designing and carving the pen name "Eunwol" of a precious soulmate onto stone, I felt more than the technical skill Engraved with sincerity A truly precious gift has been prepared; I am deeply moved. I had dinner with Muan's famous Sebalnanji hot pot. Then, a charming stay at a Hanok; even while asleep, the energy of Wolchulsan Mountain flowed down through the tiled roof and into my body. I enjoyed a sweet bibimbap with side dishes only available here, such as melon pickles and seasoned dried persimmons. I visited the historic site of Dr. Wangin's birthplace and museum. I looked for Dr. Wangin, who introduced Chinese characters and Confucianism to Japan in the 5th century and is revered as a sage in Japan even more than in Korea. Next up is a fig bread making experience. I made the bread myself using the golden recipe, and while it was baking in the oven, I had lunch at the Wolchulsan Soban. It felt less like a meal and more like a single peony blooming on the table; it was a shame to eat it. When I returned after the meal, 12 fig loaves were waiting for me, emitting a delicious, robust aroma like a tanned beauty. As I personally folded the individual boxes and placed them in the paper bag, they became such precious gifts, making this trip... The experience was the best of the best, and the precious result of this creation made us incredibly happy. The final course was Dogapsa Temple, where National Preceptor Doseon, a master of Feng Shui and geomancy, selected the auspicious direction and established the temple complex. In particular, the stone seated Buddha statue in the Maitreya Hall is a national treasure, carved in relief into a solid rock. Since it is a place known for granting prayers, we stayed for quite a while before hurrying down as our return time approached. The quality of the programs, meals, guides, drivers, and fellow travelers at Nolneunbeop Travel is exceptional. They are always punctual and polite, and share mutual respect and consideration. I am happy to think that as long as my schedule aligns and my stamina allows, I will continue to be a long-time traveler with Nolneunbeop.
