Nonunbub Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how BABAGROUND Inc. ("BABAGROUND", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects your personal information when you use the Nonunbub website (https://www.nonunbub.com), apps, and related services (the "Platform"). BABAGROUND, based in the Republic of Korea, is the controller of your personal information. Nonunbub is a platform connecting local experience providers (the "Hosts") with customers (the "Guests").

1. Information We Collect

  • Account: name, email address, password, phone number, address, date of birth, gender.
  • Social login: basic profile details you allow your provider to share.
  • Bookings and transactions: the Experiences you book, participant details, messages with Hosts, and payment status. Payments are handled by third-party providers, and we do not store your full card details.
  • Content: reviews, ratings, and photos you submit.
  • Device and usage: IP address, device and browser type, and usage data collected through cookies.

We collect this from you, from Hosts in connection with a booking, from your social login provider, and from our payment providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and manage your account and the Platform, process bookings and enable Host-Guest communication, process payments, provide support, keep the Platform secure and prevent fraud, improve our services, send marketing where you have opted in, and meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations. Where the GDPR applies, our legal bases are performance of a contract, your consent (for marketing and optional cookies), our legitimate interests (security and improvement), and legal obligations.

3. How We Share It

We share personal information only as needed: with Hosts to deliver your bookings, with payment providers to process payments, with service providers (such as cloud hosting, analytics, communications, and support) acting on our behalf, for legal reasons where required or to protect rights and safety, and in a business transfer such as a merger or sale. We do not sell your personal information for money.

4. International Transfers

We are based in the Republic of Korea and store and process your information there, so your information is transferred to Korea when you use the Platform from abroad. For users in the EU and UK, Korea is recognized as providing an adequate level of data protection. For users in Japan, we handle personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information. Where we use providers in other countries, we apply appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

5. Retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the Platform. After your account is closed, we keep it only as needed to meet legal, tax, and accounting obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements, after which we delete or anonymize it.

6. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may ask us to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your information, object to processing, request portability, or withdraw consent. Users in Japan may request the disclosure, correction, or suspension of use of their retained personal data. California residents may know, access, delete, and correct their information, opt out of any sale or sharing, and not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. 7. Cookies

We use cookies needed to run the Platform as well as optional analytics and advertising cookies. Where required, we ask for your consent before using optional cookies, and you can change your choices at any time in your cookie or browser settings.

8. Children

The Platform is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 16 (or under 13 where US law applies). If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will delete it.

9. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method is completely secure, but we work to protect it and respond promptly to any incidents.
